Ford : Coupe

I have a 1932 Steel Unchopped coupe barn find for sale. This is a original late 60's early 70's build. The frame is a 1964 impala that has been modified to fit the body. It has independent front suspension. It has drum brakes front and rear.The brakes work, but are not like disc brakes that's for sure. The rear has trailing arms with coils and seperate coil overs as well. the gear ratio seems high. There is a set of 4:11's that go with the car. The rear has a third member like a 9", it looks like it is correct for the chassis year. This is definately old school build. The transmission is a Muncey 4-speed. I am not sure if it is a M21 or M22. Side case number is #3884685. It shifts real nice and works flawless. It has 454 Chevy motor in it. The casting numbers on block are #3999289. I believe it to be a 1970 block. The oil pressure is 60 psi going down the road. It has Hooker headers, Eldelbrock newer carb. It starts very easy and sounds good. There is a GM column that tilts, bucket seats (possibly mustang mid to late 60's) and a diamond black pleated interior. The rims are old style Cragars and I sos padded them the best I could for the pictures. The tires have alteast 3/4 thread left. 14" on front and 15" on rear. MOST INTEREST THE BODY This is a UNCHOPPED car. Center of front winshield frame mesures 12" and center of rear window measures 8". Please do not think you are getting a brand new Brookville body........This body is 80 years old......Be sensible. Starting from the top.......It has the canvas top and trim ring on. There is a sun roof placed in the middle of the roof bows. I have not stripped the interior out of it to see exactly what wood is there and what is missing. I have removed and pulled up the head liner over the driver's door and I can see the original wood above the door opening. The floor pans where removed and replaced with a wooden floor. Looks like all they did was remove the cross sections and set the body down over the frame, then built a wooden...
